Andrei is our Secretary General. He is responsible for the strategic and thematic direction of the organisation and represents JEWLIF to national and international partners. His responsibilities also include building and maintaining institutional networks and cooperating with stakeholders from politics, academia, education, the arts, culture and civil society.

Rebecca is the Personal Assistant to the Secretary General. She supports the strategic and substantive preparation of institutional matters, coordinates cross-departmental projects and accompanies decision-making processes at management level. Rose heads the Education and Science department. She develops and coordinates academic conferences and educational formats, builds international networks, is responsible for specialist publications and appears as a speaker. Daniela is the officer for education and science at JEWLIF, working on educational concepts and on networking within her field. She previously worked in communications and artistic management, including at the Kronberg Academy and the Staatstheater Darmstadt. A scholar of Islamic studies, she is completing her doctorate at Heidelberg University, and her languages include Hebrew and Arabic.

Raphael heads the Media Literacy and Disinformation Prevention department. He develops measures to strengthen media literacy, designs video formats, develops gamification approaches and connects actors from the media, politics and civil society. Ekaterina is the officer for media literacy and disinformation prevention at JEWLIF, bringing a journalist’s perspective to strengthening media literacy. Since 2010 she has worked as an author, presenter and reporter, including for WDR, NDR and Deutschlandfunk, and presents the programme ‘From the Jewish World’ for DLF Kultur. Her work has received several awards.

Dominik is project manager for Arts, Culture and Society and leads the MENTSH UNITED Ensemble. He studied musicology, ethnology, Romance languages and cultural management in Cologne and Lisbon. As an experienced orchestra manager, he plans and coordinates international cultural programmes and tours that bring ideas and people together in harmony.

Maria Claudia Hacker is a project manager in the Arts, Culture and Society department. She develops and coordinates cultural projects and media productions and is responsible for their implementation. She is also responsible internally for grant applications at European level. Julian is an officer in the Arts, Culture and Society department. He develops and coordinates initiatives at the interface of Jewish life, art and civic engagement and oversees cooperation with cultural institutions. Gereon is Head of Administration. He manages the organisation’s administrative, financial and personnel processes and is responsible for advancing central administrative and governance processes. He also ensures the proper use of funds and the institution’s operational capacity.

Jevgenijs is Head of Digitalisation and Controlling. He is responsible for the organisation’s digital infrastructure and manages internal controlling to ensure organisational and financial transparency.
