Art, Culture & Society
Arts and Culture make tangible what often escapes public perception: contemporary Judaism is vibrant, multifaceted, complex, and dynamic. Through exhibitions, musical events, film, and literature projects, we amplify and illuminate the radical diversity of Jewish voices and perspectives – showcasing Jewish life in Europe in all its rich complexity.
JEWLIF unites artists, cultural practitioners, and civil society initiatives from across Europe to foster interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue, forging new expressions of Jewish and European identity. In collaboration with museums, theatres, cultural centres, orchestras, and an array of other partners, we curate festivals, artist talks, residency programmes, and artistic workshops. These initiatives make contemporary Jewish life widely accessible, moving beyond stereotypical portrayals and Antisemitism. A particular focus lies on international events that actively shape Europe into a creative and democratic shared space.
