JEWLIF is proud to take part with 60sec.mentsh in the 18th Paul Spiegel Film Festival ‘Jewish Worlds’, which takes place from 16 to 26 April 2026 at the UCI Düsseldorf and in the Blackbox of the Film Museum. The festival brings together current international productions such as The Disappearance of Josef Mengele, All About the Levkoviches and With Love and Chansons, and highlights the creativity and diversity with which Jewish life is represented on screen.
The 60sec.mentsh films will be shown as opening short films and set the thematic frame for the respective festival evenings.
The festival programme is deliberately designed for a broad audience and opens up perspectives beyond familiar narratives. At a time of rising antisemitic incidents, the festival creates an important space for exchange, visibility and encounter. With its short-film portraits, JEWLIF contributes to this programme and offers personal insights into the everyday lives, identities and lived experiences of Jewish people across Europe.
