Every Mentsh Has a Story. Under this motto, 60sec.mentsh tells personal stories about life, identity and belonging. After numerous shooting days in several European countries, the first season is now fully complete: all the films have been shot and released.

Art, Culture and Society

In the first season, we meet people who shape Jewish life in Europe in very different ways. They include PERRY, a passionate Tottenham Hotspur fan from London, PHILIPPE, a musician and co-founder of Gotan Project from Paris, SARAH, who works alongside Iranian students for peace and understanding, UDI, a defining figure of Berlin’s nightlife, and ANDREAS, who is committed to a culture of remembrance and to social cohesion. DAPHNA, LUNA, EREZ, MIKKI, TATIA and other protagonists also give personal insights into their worlds in the films.

Each film offers hyper-compressed insights and shows how diverse, vibrant and many-faceted Jewish life in Europe is today. With the series, we want to make encounters possible, break down prejudices and bring people into conversation with one another.
