Our inclusive, low-threshold education format is aimed at school pupils aged 14 and over, apprentices and university students. What makes it special: in conversation with our Jewish speakers, participants gain insights into the lives of Jewish people in Germany and Europe, personal, open and without taboos. Tailored to each group’s everyday learning or working environment, we also develop strategies together for dealing with antisemitism, extremism and disinformation in the workplace.
On board to provide expert guidance and to lead the workshops is rabbi and author Levi Israel Ufferfilge. Levi brings his many years of experience as an educator, in interreligious dialogue, as a teacher at various schools and universities, and as rabbi of the Jewish community of Oldenburg.
Our first stops took us to the Münsterland region and north to Hamburg and Rendsburg. We thank the pupils and teachers of the Heriburg-Gymnasium in Coesfeld, the Rendsburg vocational training centre and the Eulenkamp vocational school for media and communication for the engaging exchange and their commitment.
By the end of 2026, we will be on the road with more than 40 workshop stops at educational institutions across Germany.
